Job description

We’re looking for a Full Stack WordPress Developer who is comfortable owning an entire website build - from custom theme development to content entry. You’ll work directly from Figma designs and collaborating with a project manager, developers, and designers. Speed, quality, and communication are key.

This is a full-time position. You will be responsible for both frontend and backend development. Our team handles launch and server administration - your focus is the build.

Responsibilities

  • Build complete WordPress websites from scratch, including custom theme development
  • Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, fully responsive HTML/CSS/PHP templates
  • Develop and register Custom Post Types and use Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) throughout the build
  • Integrate and configure Gravity Forms as needed
  • Enter all site content and pages on the dev environment (sitemap, pages, and content provided)
  • Perform thorough self-QA on all work prior to handing off for secondary review
  • Commit code regularly and submit pull requests via Git for code review
  • Communicate progress and flag deadline risks early to the project manager
  • Attend internal stand-up meetings and provide project updates as needed

Requirements

Do you have experience in jQuery?, * Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP

  • Strong WordPress custom theme development skills
  • Hands-on experience with Advanced Custom Fields, Custom Post Types, and Gravity Forms
  • Ability to read Figma design files and build pixel-perfect, fully responsive layouts
  • Comfortable using AI tools as part of your daily development workflow
  • Basic Git knowledge - regular commits and pull requests are expected
  • Strong self-QA habits; all work is subject to a secondary review before launch
  • Clear communicator who can work within deadlines and flag issues early

Nice to Have

  • Tailwind CSS
  • Object-oriented PHP, * 2+ years of experience in full stack web development
