Network Engineer

We are seeking a mid-level Operational Network Engineer to provide day-to-day network operations and support for a companies global retail office. This is a hands-on operational role focused on maintaining network stability, troubleshooting incidents, supporting infrastructure changes, and working alongside the client’s internal IT team.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting enterprise Cisco environments and is comfortable administering Fortinet firewalls in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, switching, and wireless issues.
• Support Fortinet firewall administration, policy changes, and troubleshooting.
• Perform switch and router configuration changes.
• Support VPN connectivity and remote access.
• Participate in network upgrades, maintenance windows, and equipment replacements.
• Document network changes and operational procedures.
• Escalate complex issues as appropriate while maintaining ownership through resolution.
• Provide excellent customer service to on-site users and IT stakeholders.

• 1-2 years of enterprise networking experience.
• CCNA or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with:
• Cisco Catalyst switching
• Cisco routing
• VLANs
• STP
• OSPF
• DHCP
• DNS
• TCP/IP
• Experience supporting Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate).
• Strong troubleshooting methodology.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site full time.

Preferred

• Fortinet NSE/FCP certification.
• CCNP coursework or equivalent experience.
• Experience with wireless networking.
• ITIL or service desk experience.

Pay: $34.00 - $45.00 per hour
