Senior Software Engineer - Vehicle Modeling

• Abachelorsdegree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related area, and at least3years of experiencein the vehicle modeling domain.
• Expertiseinvehicle system modeling and simulation (powertrain, suspension, steering, brakes, chassis controls, etc.)
• Strong programming skills inPython andC/C++ Experience withMatlab/Simulink, System ID studies, model validation, and data analysis

• Develop andimplementsimulation components that model vehicle ECUs, actuators, chassis, and tires.
• Develop scalable simulation architectures to supporta large number ofhost vehicle models.
• Collaborate with Vehicle dynamics and actuation technical experts across GM.
• Design, run, and interpret vehicle model validation studies.
• Refactor and optimize code for long term maintainability and performance improvements
• Generate documentation for designdocuments, port-mortems, and release notes, The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. • The salary range for this role is $129,400 and $198,400. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
