Design Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in the area of 29301. This company is known for its innovative approach to engineering solutions, ensuring high-quality designs that meet customer needs while minimizing manufacturing costs., * Create and develop 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks (2021).

• Collaborate with sales and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet customer specifications.
• Evaluate products according to quality standards and specifications.
• Provide engineering support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Work with suppliers and customers to determine product specifications.

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design/manufacture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; Associates in related fields acceptable.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, particularly in the Weldments tab/function.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

$40 - $45 an hour - Temp-to-hire
