Delphi Developer

• Develop and maintain desktop or client-server applications using Delphi/Object Pascal
• Analyze business and technical requirements
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues
• Upgrade and modernize legacy Delphi applications
• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party systems
• Optimize software performance and scalability
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment
• Create technical documentation
• Collaborate with QA, business analysts, and cross-functional teams

Do you have experience in Version control?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Strong experience with Delphi (Delphi 7 through modern XE/11/12 versions)

• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience with:
• VCL / FireMonkey
• SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• REST APIs and Web Services
• XML / JSON
• Git or other version control systems
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience maintaining legacy enterprise systems
• Familiarity with DevExpress, FastReports, or third-party Delphi components
• Experience with modern integrations or migration projects
• Knowledge of C#, Java, or .NET is often considered a plus

$45 - $55 an hour - Contract
