Job description
- Architect at Scale - Own and influence end-to-end integration architecture supporting AI Big Bets initiatives
- Cutting-Edge AI Enablement - Design secure data and API access that fuels Voice AI, IVR, and analytics platforms
- Multi-Cloud Exposure - Architect solutions across three or more cloud environments
- Vendor Influence - Lead technical evaluations, bake-offs, and scaling decisions with external AI and telephony partners
- Visible Impact - Your work directly enables customer-facing AI experiences and enterprise automation
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Own and govern end-to-end integration architecture across telephony platforms, APIs, and enterprise data systems
- Design and implement real-time and batch data pipelines supporting AI and analytics workloads
- Architect secure API integrations using enterprise patterns such as API gateways, OAuth 2.0, and event-driven designs
- Enable secure data exposure and transaction execution for AI platforms
- Establish reusable integration patterns for vendor evaluation and production scalability
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between internal teams and external AI/telephony vendors
- Ensure observability, traceability, and auditability of integrations using modern tooling (e.g., OpenTelemetry)
- Collaborate daily with architecture leadership, IVR teams, data, security, network, and infrastructure partners
Requirements
Do you have experience in Data Integration (Data management)?, * 7+ years of experience in integration architecture, solution architecture, or data engineering
- Strong hands-on experience designing enterprise-scale integrations
- Proven multi-cloud integration experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar)
- Deep API integration expertise (REST, GraphQL, webhooks)
- Experience designing batch and streaming data pipelines
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Databricks, SAP, or Salesforce
- Solid understanding of AI/data integration and secure data exposure strategies
Bonus Points If You Have
- Telephony, SIP, VoIP, or IVR platform experience (Avaya or similar)
- Experience with data lakehouse platforms (Databricks or Snowflake)
- Cloud networking knowledge (Direct Connect, Megaport, VPC peering)
- Observability and tracing experience (OpenTelemetry, Splunk, etc.)
- SaaS and third-party vendor integration experience
- Background working in regulated environments such as utilities or energy
Education & Certifications You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Cloud or integration-related certifications are a plus but not required
