Job description
We are looking for an R&D Test Software Engineer to join our test center specializing in the development and validation of automatic, hybrid, and full-electric powertrains.
In this role, you will be responsible for: Managing and developing software (LabView/Simulink) running on National Instruments and dSpace hardware. Integrating new software and hardware into the existing test center framework, analyzing product development requirements to prevent information gaps or issues. Implementing and improving automation tools (Python/Canape) to increase test robustness. Collaborating closely with colleagues to advise and develop software, with a focus on test bench integration, communication, and automation (CAN network and Python). Developing tools and documentation to standardize and ensure consistent operation across all test rigs, using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enhance testing quality and efficiency.
Requirements
Engineering degree with a focus on mechatronic systems and software. Knowledge of LabView/Veristand (National Instruments). Knowledge of Matlab Simulink is a plus. Understanding of control theory is an asset. Experience in automotive testing, sensors, data acquisition, test equipment, and electromechanics is a plus.
