Job description
- You work at the intersection of business, technology, and organisational change, helping organisations turn AI ambitions into implemented solutions that create measurable value.
- You guide AI initiatives end-to-end - from the initial business need and use-case definition through project setup and value assessment, implementation, rollout, adoption, and benefits realisation.
- You act as a senior, independent advisor to management teams and business leaders, translating AI strategic priorities into feasible roadmaps, operating models, governance structures, and implementation plans.
- You develop robust value cases, including measurable outcomes, KPIs, ownership, baseline assumptions, and expected operational, economic, or societal benefits.

You assess organisational readiness and implementation barriers, including processes, data, capabilities, decision structures, stakeholder interests, and change requirements.
- You lead stakeholder alignment and change activities across management, business units, IT and data teams, users, technical experts, and external implementation partners.
- You provide business leadership for selected engagements, working closely with project managers and technical leads to ensure business objectives, delivery decisions, and expected outcomes remain aligned.
- You develop reusable approaches and tools for AI transformation, adoption, governance, and value realisation across different sectors.
- You represent AI:AT - AI Factory Austria as a trusted and market-neutral partner, connecting organisations with the most appropriate expertise and ecosystem partners whenever specialised capabilities are required., * A central role in shaping how Austrian organisations move from AI experimentation to operational and measurable impact.
- You will work at the intersection of industry, public administration and research.
- The gross annual salary on a full-time basis (38,5 h / week) according to the collective agreement amounts to at least EUR 70.966,– as a basis and is supplemented by further, variable salary components. The actual total salary package is determined individually according to your qualifications and experience.

- The position will be funded by the AI Factory Austria project until June 2028. An extension beyond this period may be possible depending on future project developments.

Requirements
- At least seven years of relevant professional experience, including substantial responsibility for complex transformation or implementation initiatives.
- A proven track record of supporting initiatives beyond strategy and concept development, guiding organisations through implementation, rollout and operational adoption.
- Strong ability to translate business challenges into structured AI use cases, implementation plans, and measurable value propositions
- Experience working across multiple organisations or within complex organisational environments; cross-industry experience is an advantage.
- Deep understanding of organisational change, stakeholder management, process design, operating models, and the typical reasons why technology projects fail during implementation.
- Ability to work with senior business stakeholders, technical teams, project managers, and operational units in a structured and outcome-oriented way.
- Solid understanding of AI and data-driven solutions, their implementation lifecycle, organisational implications, and common delivery risks.
- Hands-on software development skills are not required.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and moderation skills, with the ability to translate between business needs, organisational realities, and technical possibilities.
- An advisory mindset, a hands-on attitude, high degree of ownership, and the ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Professional fluency in English, as well as German language proficiency at C1 level or equivalent is required.
