The Strategy Execution team acts as the compass for TenneT’s digital transformation. In this role, you lead a team that operationalises strategic choices and ensures alignment between business and technology. You are the architect of change and the engine behind sustainable growth., As Manager Strategy & Execution, you are responsible for developing, translating, and realising TenneT’s digital strategy. You make sure that strategic objectives are turned into investment plans, programs, and governance frameworks that accelerate the energy transition. This role is guiding and requires leadership that combines vision with execution power. Through your work, digital initiatives are not only conceived but also implemented with measurable impact., * Develops and updates the digital strategy across people, process & technology, and translates this into investment plans and programs.

  • Defines and monitors IPP, OKRs, and capability roadmaps for both DTT and other divisions regarding digitilisation goals.
  • Ensures alignment between business units, DTT, and strategic technology partners.
  • Monitors progress and performance of digital transformation initiatives in the different divisions.
  • Represents TenneT in strategic forums. (e.g., ExCo) and external partnerships.
  • Responsible for identifying TenneT’s strategic partners for digital technology and data and ensuring effective collaboration.

Results-oriented and KPIs

You deliver tangible results such as strategy documents, investment plans, governance frameworks, and progress reports. KPIs include, among others, achieving strategic objectives, timely delivery of programs, and improved alignment between business and IT. Through your efforts, TenneT becomes measurably more agile and a digital TSO.

Organisational context

This position is placed within the Strategy & Execution team, part of Digital & Technology Transformation - Strategic Change. You report to the Manager of Strategic Change and work closely with domain offices, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. The role offers a high degree of autonomy and requires strong influencing skills towards management and external partners. Within your span of control, you have a direct report of 9 employees.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, IT Management, or similar.
  • At least 10 years of proven experience in strategic planning, digital transformation, and governance.
  • Proven experience in investment management and strategic portfolio and program management
  • Extensive experience in stakeholder management at executive level on both business and IT sides.
  • Experience in building a strategy team and competencies
