Full Stack Developer

We’re looking for a skilled full-stack developer / software engineer to join our team and help build a modern, data-intensive web platform. You’ll work across the entire stack, from designing APIs to crafting responsive user interfaces, all within a well-structured and maintainable codebase.

Work environment

You will be joining the Federal Judicial Police, a specialized police service responsible for combating organized crime in all its forms, with a strong focus on cybercrime, terrorism, and drug trafficking. As one of the three general directorates of the federal police, we conduct judicial investigations and provide technical expertise to the entire integrated police force and our national and international partners. This role places you at the heart of our technical operations, where you will support the specialized units and forensic activities that are essential to our mission.

Tech stack

Backend (min. 5years experience)

• Python with Django and Django REST Framework for building robust, scalable APIs

Frontend (min. 3 years experience)

• React

• TypeScript

Infrastructure & Tooling (min. 5 years experience):

• Docker

• GitLab CI/CD

• Pytest

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience with Python and Django

• Solid skills in React and TypeScript, ideally with modern tooling like Vite

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, including complex queries and data modeling

• Experience with background job processing

• Understanding of REST API design and OpenAPI standards

• Comfortable with Docker and CI/CD workflows

• A mindset that values clean code, testing, and maintainability

Nice to have

• Experience with data-heavy applications and complex data visualizations

• Pandas experience or willing to learn
