Job description
As Data Manager, you will define and drive the enterprise-wide data strategy, ensuring strong governance, data quality, security, and regulatory compliance. You will play a key role in unlocking business value through data, analytics, and AI across operations, finance, ESG, and corporate functions., * Define and execute the company’s enterprise-wide data strategy.
- Establish data governance frameworks, ownership models, and quality standards.
- Develop and oversee the roadmap, programs, and projects required to implement the data strategy.
- Drive data-enabled transformation across business functions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and critical infrastructure requirements.
- Build the foundations required for advanced analytics and AI adoption.
- Lead and develop a team of 10-15 experts
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including executive leadership and board-level decision-makers.
- Promote a data-driven culture across the organization.
Requirements
- Master’s degree required.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership positions within Data, IT, Digital, or Transformation environments.
- Proven experience in deploying enterprise-wide data governance frameworks and major data transformation initiatives.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to define roadmaps and drive large-scale organizational change.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly to executive audiences.
- Experience within industry, infrastructure, utilities, energy, manufacturing, or other regulated sectors is highly valued.
- Exposure to OT/IT environments, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, SCADA, telemetry, AI, or NIS2-related topics is an asset.
- Strong people management and transversal leadership skills.
- Humble, resilient, influential, and able to navigate complex environments with calm and credibility.
- Fluent in English and either French or Dutch.
