Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Angular & GenAI) - German Speaker

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Angular & GenAI Integration), you will work at the intersection of software engineering, AI, and business transformation, helping build and scale modern web platforms enhanced by GenAI capabilities.

You will join a strategic transformation initiative in the insurance sector, developing enterprise-grade applications that integrate Angular frontends, Python/FastAPI backends, and GPT-based modules to improve business workflows, document handling, and operational efficiency., * Implement GPT/LLM-based modules to support evaluation, automation, and workflow optimisation

• Design, build, and consume REST APIs within a microservices architecture
• Implement secure authentication and authorisation mechanisms
• Collaborate closely with Data Science and platform teams to integrate AI capabilities
• Participate in technical architecture discussions and contribute to system design decisions
• Ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance of applications
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and delivery planning
• Support deployment, integration, and release activities across environments, * You will work in a highly regulated industry environment (insurance)
• You will integrate front-end, back-end, and GenAI components into cohesive systems
• You will need to balance innovation (GenAI) with enterprise reliability and security
• You will collaborate across engineering, data science, and platform teams

Do you have experience in Scrum?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * +8 years of experience in software engineering

• At least 3-4 years of Angular experience in enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in Angular and TypeScript
• Solid backend experience with Python and FastAPI
• Proven experience with REST APIs and microservices architectures
• Experience implementing authentication and security best practices
• Experience working with or integrating AI / LLM / GenAI services
• Experience developing enterprise-scale applications
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong collaboration experience with Data Science or AI teams
• Fluent English and German
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen, or hold a valid work permit for Portugal, * Experience in insurance or other regulated industries
• Exposure to Azure or cloud-native environments
• Experience with RAG architectures or vector databases
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of GenAI orchestration frameworks
