Job description

We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst who is not only strong in core analytics but also comfortable using AI tools to accelerate insights, automate workflows, and improve productivity. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is curious, resourceful, and eager to apply modern tools to real business problems.

You will work closely with Marketing and IT to transform data into actionable insights that drive business decisions., * Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Use statistical techniques and AI-assisted tools to interpret data and automate analysis workflows
  • Work with AWS data infrastructure, including RDS (PostgreSQL), to query and manage data
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously through effective project management techniques, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Requirements

Do you have experience in Statistics?, * 1-3 years of experience in data analysis or a related field

  • Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and Excel
  • Experience working with AWS environments, especially RDS
  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis (pandas, basic scripting, automation)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Experience with or exposure to AI tools (e.g., GPT, Claude, or similar) to improve productivity
  • Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis techniques
  • Familiarity with ETL/data pipeline concepts
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with PostgreSQL in production environments
  • Exposure to AWS services such as S3 and Lambda
  • Experience with Python libraries such as pandas, numpy, matplotlib, or seaborn
  • Exposure to marketing, sales, or financial data
  • Experience automating workflows or building lightweight data tools
  • Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), * SQL: 3 years (Required)
