Job description

Peraton seeks an Information Assurance Engineer (RMF/ISSO) to support ARCYBER G6. In this role, implement and maintain the Risk Management Framework (RMF); maintain access to DISA’s enterprise Mission Assurance Security Solution (eMASS), and ensure alignment with DoD cybersecurity standards and best practices across all organizational capabilities, including the Big Data Platform, Gabriel Nimbus (GN)., * Prepare Body of Evidence (BoE) documents such as System Security Plan (SSP), Security Assessment Report (SAR), Risk Assessment Report (RAR), Security Control Traceability Matrix (SCTM), Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), System Software and Installation Procedures, Security Test Procedures and Software Application documentation, and policy and procedures requirements.

  • Collaborate with the engineering team for design and implementation to ensure RMF systems comply with FISMA provisions and DoD Army Policies and regulations for cyber Operations.
  • Support incident handling and vulnerability management processes.

Requirements

Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Will consider Associates +10 or High School +12 years of experience.
  • Must have knowledge and experience in DISA’s eMASS
  • Must have a deep understanding of how the Army conducts RMF functions.
  • Must be fully qualified/certified at the DoDM 8140.03 INTERMEDIATE proficiency level; ADVANCED level is preferred. Security+ or comparable certification or education.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain/maintain Polygraph and MEAD.

Benefits & conditions

Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
