IT Technician / Installer

We’re looking for dependable and tech-savvy individuals to assist with hardware upgrades, network equipment installations, and wireless access point replacements at various customer locations throughout the greater Pittsburgh region. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with basic IT, cabling, or installation experience who enjoy working in the field.

Shift:

• Full-time schedule with daylight and after-hours work
• Monday-Friday availability required
• Occasional evenings and weekend work required

Assignment Length:

• Approximately 3-6 months

Job Duties of the IT Installer / Technician:

• Unbox, stage, and prepare networking hardware for installation
• Assist with loading firmware and configuring equipment
• Install and replace wireless access points and network equipment
• Perform physical installation tasks including mounting, cabling, and equipment setup
• Support post-installation testing and equipment verification
• Track inventory and document hardware information accurately
• Travel to customer locations throughout the region
• Follow all customer safety, security, and site access requirements
• Other duties as required

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Firmware?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school diploma or GED

• Attention to detail and professionalism
• Reliability
• Basic IT, networking, cabling, or hardware installation experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and follow technical instructions
• Comfortable working in hospital or commercial environments
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to travel locally throughout the Pittsburgh region
• Ability to bend, lift, twist, crouch, etc.
