Server & Azure Cloud Services Administrator - 5 Year Min Experience

This is an on-site position located in the Scranton, PA area. The successful candidate must report to the office in person daily., As a Server & Azure Cloud Services Administrator, you will design, deploy, secure, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure for multiple clients. You’ll work on a diverse range of technologies, support multi-domain environments, and serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex issues. This role requires strong technical depth, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced MSP environment., Azure & Cloud Infrastructure

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud solutions to meet business and technical requirements
• Optimize Azure environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Implement and manage Azure security best practices, including IAM and Azure Active Directory
• Manage Azure VMs, storage, networking, and related services
• Develop and maintain automation using PowerShell, Azure DevOps, or Terraform
• Support cloud migrations and modernization initiatives

On-Premises Infrastructure

• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, storage arrays, and backup appliances
• Administer Windows Server environments, including AD DS, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, and file services
• Harden server operating systems and remediate vulnerabilities promptly
• Support virtualization platforms and multi-domain environments

Endpoint, M365, and VoIP

• Manage Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and device policies
• Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Azure AD, and Teams
• Assist with VoIP systems deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting

Support & Operations

• Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex issues
• Log all communications and ticket updates accurately and promptly
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and technical procedures
• Build and maintain internal documentation, diagrams, and knowledgebase articles

Do you have experience in Windows?, * 5+ years of experience in cloud and systems administration with a focus on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and core server roles
• Experience with Intune and modern device management
• Experience with virtualization, networking fundamentals, and storage technologies
• Ability to troubleshoot multiple desktop operating systems and applications
• Strong understanding of IT security best practices and security frameworks
• Experience performing IT security audits across cloud and on-prem infrastructure
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Effective documentation and organizational skills
• Experience with Linux administration (light to moderate)
• Familiarity with SQL Server or other relational databases (basic understanding)
• Experience deploying or supporting VoIP systems
• Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware, etc.)
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery technologies
• Experience with network fundamentals (VLANs, firewalls, routing concepts)
• Microsoft, VMware, or other relevant industry certifications
• Experience participating in multi-phased infrastructure or cloud projects
