Cyber Security Business Analyst - Utilities - £450 pd Inside IR35
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Business Analyst to join a high-profile programme within the utilities sector. This role will support the delivery of security initiatives by working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party suppliers to gather, analyse, and document business and security requirements.
The successful candidate will have a strong business analysis background combined with experience delivering cyber security projects. Previous experience within the utilities, water, energy, or other regulated infrastructure sectors would be highly advantageous.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst on cyber security or information security programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical audiences.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements using recognised BA methodologies.
- Knowledge of cyber security concepts such as: Identity & Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Security Operations, Network Security, Vulnerability Management, Security Governance & Compliance, Cyber Risk
- Experience producing process maps and facilitating workshops.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience within the water, utilities or energy sectors (desirable)
Rate: £450 per day (Inside IR35) Duration: 3 months initially with high chance of extension Location: Reading (3 days per week on site, 2 days remote)
