Job description

We’re redefining Adobe’s Content Platform with cloud-based collaboration and content services that power seamless experiences across platforms. Join our Client Libraries team in Hamburg as a senior JavaScript/TypeScript engineer and help define how Adobe products connect to our cloud-native microservices - from real-time collaboration and notifications to content workflows. You’ll own client libraries and SDKs end to end, working closely with teams in the US and India, and help shape how users experience connected, collaborative workflows across platforms. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and are committed to building a diverse team., * Own and evolve JavaScript/TypeScript client libraries and SDKs ensuring high-quality APIs, backward compatibility, and an excellent developer experience

  • Drive implementation of sophisticated features across our library portfolio
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate testing, releases, and package publishing
  • Establish practices for robust, secure code
  • Mentor others and share knowledge across teams
  • Work directly with colocated server teams and partner teams in the US and India

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Strong expertise in modern JavaScript (ES2022+) and TypeScript, including asynchronous programming, package management (npm), testing, and building reusable libraries and SDKs
  • Strong experience with Node.js and the JavaScript ecosystem.
  • Proficient in writing and maintaining automated tests using frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, Artillery.Io or similar
  • Experience with package managers such as npm, pnpm, or Yarn
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in German and English
  • Comfortable in technical discussions and code reviews with constructive feedback

Nice to have

  • Experience with WebSockets or real-time communication
  • Familiarity with C++
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic)
