Application Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Application Engineer - Laser Cutting Systems to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting customers with laser cutting applications, machine demonstrations, process optimization, technical training, and pre/post-sales support. The ideal candidate has experience in sheet metal fabrication, CNC laser cutting technology, and strong problem-solving skills., * Provide technical support for fiber laser cutting machines and related automation systems

• Conduct machine demonstrations, sample testing, and application evaluations for customers
• Optimize cutting parameters for different materials and thicknesses
• Assist the sales team with technical presentations and customer consultations
• Troubleshoot application and process-related issues remotely and onsite
• Train customers on machine operation, maintenance, and software usage
• Support installation, commissioning, and acceptance of equipment
• Collaborate with engineering and service teams to improve customer satisfaction
• Prepare technical reports, cutting data, and application documentation

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Product demos?, * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field

• Experience with laser cutting equipment, CNC machines, or sheet metal fabrication preferred
• Knowledge of fiber laser cutting processes, materials, and CAD/CAM software
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to travel for customer visits and onsite support
• Proficient in English; Chinese language skills are a plus
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with fiber laser cutting machines
• Familiarity with nesting software and CNC programming
• Background in metal fabrication or industrial machinery

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year, * 401(k)
