Application Programmer III

• Design, develop, test, and support application migration projects from existing platforms to strategic, future-state platforms.
• Collaborate with multiple technology teams to ensure seamless transition and integration of applications and business processes.

• Contribute to architecture decisions and platform adoption strategies across the organization.

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Application Programmer III to join their team. As an Application Programmer III, you will be part of the Application Development Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization., * 7+ years of experience in Java application development, including Java 11+ features such as multi-threading, collections, and functional programming.

• Proficiency in modern frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of database design, SQL, query tuning, and optimization.
• Experience with frontend UI technologies such as HTML5, AngularJS, Backbone.js, and Bootstrap within Agile environments.
• Knowledge of Big Data ecosystems like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and cloud computing architectures.
