Job description
As a Health IT Operations Analyst, you’ll monitor and support critical network and system operations to ensure reliable performance across business systems and services. You’ll troubleshoot issues, respond to incidents, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges. This role plays a key part in maintaining system stability and delivering a seamless customer experience.
This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. Shift-based role with 24/7 coverage expectations, including evenings, weekends, and on-call support as needed. Example: Wednesday-Saturday (9PM- 8AM PT) What you’ll do Monitor Network tools and infrastructure (e.g., DynaTrace, Zenoss, DataDog, and monitoring and control applications)Add/remove/update Customer site equipment as needed, including ISP updates, firewall policy changes, network changes/additionsTroubleshoot user and customer network outages, phone issues, and Best Buy Health device issuesConduct initial (Level 1) troubleshooting of Best Buy Health Datacenter or application issues before escalation to the Systems, Network, Data, or Development Engineering teamsManage incident response and system operations by monitoring issues, responding to alerts, documenting incidents, and escalating to major incident processes when neededSupport system performance and implementation by maintaining configurations, executing routine maintenance, leveraging run books and process documentation, and partnering with vendors and internal teams, We’re committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home. Requirements
2+ years of experience in a NOC, operations center, data center, or desktop support environment2+ years of experience with enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless)1+ year of experience using network or system monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog, Dynatrace, SolarWinds)Experience troubleshooting network or system issues in a production environmentExperience configuring or supporting network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless)Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office toolsPreferred Qualifications Associate degree in computer science, Information technologies or a related fieldExperience with monitoring tools such as DataDog, Dynatrace, or similar platformsKnowledge of ITIL frameworks or experience working in an ITIL environmentUnderstanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP)Experience using ticketing or incident management systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) What’s in it for you
