Job description

This is a hands-on, varied IT position supporting infrastructure and users across the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, and wider Europe. You will be the go-to expert for maintaining, securing, and improving our systems, while delivering high-quality support to internal teams. You will report to the IT Service Manager and play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly and securely., ️ Systems & Infrastructure Management

  • Maintain, configure, and support Navision BC and Navision 2009 (core ERP systems), alongside other business applications
  • Build, install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware, servers, network equipment, and production/process machinery
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure maximum uptime and reliability
  • Administer security across all servers, computers, and network devices - ensuring compliance with company policies and best practices
  • Update and maintain accurate IT documentation, schedules, and technical records
  • Support and contribute to IT projects, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives

Helpdesk & User Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for Level 1 and Level 2 support for all staff across European sites
  • Manage and track support requests using Cherwell ticketing system
  • Provide remote and on-site assistance - guiding users through technical issues via phone, remote tools, or in person
  • Work closely with Operations teams to develop new processes and procedures that meet business objectives

️ Working Pattern & Travel

  • Based primarily in Eindhoven, Netherlands
  • Travel to our German site (Ginsheim-Gustavsburg) approx. 5 days per month (typical split: 3 weeks Netherlands, 1 week Germany)
  • Occasional travel to other locations in the UK and Europe as required

Requirements

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Advanced, proven knowledge of Navision BC and Navision 2009 - this is a core requirement
  • Background in IT system administration or technical customer support
  • Experience supporting remote users and multiple locations
  • High School Diploma / equivalent, plus relevant technical training or certifications
  • Willingness to travel across Europe and work on-site

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong practical ability to repair, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and business applications
  • Clear communicator - able to explain technical issues simply to non-technical users
  • Self-starter - able to work independently, prioritise tasks, and take ownership of problems
  • Strong problem-solving skills - able to break down complex issues and find root causes
  • Team-oriented - able to collaborate effectively across different departments and countries
  • Committed to safety, compliance, and quality standards

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Experience in ITAD, manufacturing, or logistics environments
  • Knowledge of network administration and security protocols

Benefits & conditions

Salary: Up to €55,000 per annum - dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications

Contract: Full-time, permanent On-site role with travel across the Netherlands, Germany, UK, and wider Europe, Competitive salary package (up to €55k) and excellent international exposure
