AI Engineer

• Design, develop and deploy AI-powered applications and solutions across a variety of business and engineering initiatives
• Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies to deliver innovative products and features
• Build and optimise prompt engineering frameworks, AI workflows and retrieval-based solutions
• Collaborate with software engineers, data teams and external partners to create scalable, production-ready AI systems
• Help establish best practices around AI development, governance and responsible AI usage
• Contribute to the wider AI strategy and identify opportunities to drive adoption across the business
• Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and recommend improvements to existing solutions

• Experience as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer or Software Engineer with a strong focus on AI
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI or machine learning solutions
• Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI and prompt engineering
• Knowledge of modern AI tooling and frameworks, including exposure to RAG architectures and vector databases
• Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience developing scalable applications
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience within financial services or another regulated environment would be beneficial

As an AI Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering innovative AI solutions that support business growth and improve engineering capability across the organisation. Working closely with engineering teams, product stakeholders and senior leadership, you’ll help turn cutting-edge AI technologies into real-world business outcomes.
