Job description
Our client is an industry leader building something genuinely interesting: a first-party advertising platform that reaches tens of millions of customers across digital channels. They’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help architect and build the ad serving, targeting, and measurement capabilities at the core of it.
This isn’t a maintenance role. You’ll be designing and shipping new capabilities from the ground up - alongside a team that takes engineering craft seriously.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead and contribute to development of new advertising capabilities - ad serving, targeting, and measurement - aligned to the digital advertising team’s strategic priorities
- Design, build, and deploy ad capabilities across multiple platforms and functional teams (product, technology, marketing, legal)
- Assess third-party AdTech solutions for fit within the emerging platform
- Perform code reviews ensuring quality, scale, user experience, and regulatory compliance
- Identify opportunities for code sharing and joint development with peer engineering teams
- Coach and potentially lead junior engineers
- Stay current on industry research and emerging technologies
Requirements
Do you have experience in Software engineering?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, This role has a hard requirement on AdTech and media network experience. Candidates without it will not be considered.
- Digital advertising and/or media network software engineering experience - required
- Hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager or similar ad serving platforms - strongly preferred
- Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud/Platform and Adobe Creative Cloud - preferred
- 8+ years building and deploying large-scale software products
- Strong Java, REST APIs, and cloud engineering fundamentals
- Full stack experience including React or comparable front-end frameworks
- CICD, DevOps, and platform resiliency experience
- Scaled Agile development environment fluency
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent; advanced degree preferred, * professional software engineering: 7 years (Required)

Pay: $165,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year, * 401(k)
