Job description

Our client is an industry leader building something genuinely interesting: a first-party advertising platform that reaches tens of millions of customers across digital channels. They’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help architect and build the ad serving, targeting, and measurement capabilities at the core of it.

This isn’t a maintenance role. You’ll be designing and shipping new capabilities from the ground up - alongside a team that takes engineering craft seriously.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead and contribute to development of new advertising capabilities - ad serving, targeting, and measurement - aligned to the digital advertising team’s strategic priorities
  • Design, build, and deploy ad capabilities across multiple platforms and functional teams (product, technology, marketing, legal)
  • Assess third-party AdTech solutions for fit within the emerging platform
  • Perform code reviews ensuring quality, scale, user experience, and regulatory compliance
  • Identify opportunities for code sharing and joint development with peer engineering teams
  • Coach and potentially lead junior engineers
  • Stay current on industry research and emerging technologies

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software engineering?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, This role has a hard requirement on AdTech and media network experience. Candidates without it will not be considered.

  • Digital advertising and/or media network software engineering experience - required
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager or similar ad serving platforms - strongly preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud/Platform and Adobe Creative Cloud - preferred
  • 8+ years building and deploying large-scale software products
  • Strong Java, REST APIs, and cloud engineering fundamentals
  • Full stack experience including React or comparable front-end frameworks
  • CICD, DevOps, and platform resiliency experience
  • Scaled Agile development environment fluency
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent; advanced degree preferred, * professional software engineering: 7 years (Required)
