Java Software Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications using Java 8/11, Spring Boot, Kotlin, and JAX-RS.
• Develop scalable microservices and RESTful APIs with strong knowledge of HTTP, JSON, and API best practices.
• Build secure and reliable applications using Spring Framework components including Spring Security and Spring Batch.
• Write high-quality unit, integration, and API tests using JUnit and Karate/Cucumber.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, and Artifactory.
• Work with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra to build high-performance data solutions.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver high-quality software in a large enterprise environment.
• Participate in code reviews, repository management, and deployment activities using Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to knowledge sharing and engineering best practices., * Build and maintain Microservices using Spring Boot and Java technologies.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs following industry best practices.
• Create automated testing frameworks and ensure high code quality.
• Manage source code, deployments, and code reviews using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively within large cross-functional teams.
• Analyze technical problems and deliver efficient, scalable solutions.
• Effectively manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.

• 10+ years of experience in Java software engineering, including application design, development, and maintenance.
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11, Spring Boot, Kotlin, JAX-RS, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Spring Framework modules such as Spring Security and Spring Batch.
• Proficiency in developing REST APIs and working with HTTP and JSON.
• Hands-on experience writing unit and integration tests using JUnit and Karate/Cucumber.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, and Artifactory.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases, preferably Cassandra.
• Good understanding of Linux environments.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Banking or Payments domain experience is preferred.
