  • Install, set up, and configure NetApp storage systems and software solutions at customer sites. Ensure proper connectivity and integration with existing infrastructure, networks, and applications
  • Collaborate with customers, system architects, and project teams to design and architect NetApp storage solutions based on the organization’s requirements. This includes assessing storage needs, determining capacity and performance requirements, and proposing the appropriate NetApp storage systems and configurations
  • Create and manage storage volumes, file systems, and LUNs (Logical Unit Numbers) on NetApp storage systems. Allocate storage resources to applications and users, monitor storage utilization, and perform capacity planning
  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including software upgrades, patch installations, and firmware updates. Monitor system performance and health, identify potential issues, and proactively address them to ensure optimal system functionality.
  • Set up and manage data backup and disaster recovery solutions using NetApp technologies such as SnapMirror and SnapVault. Design and implement backup policies, perform regular backups, and ensure data integrity and recovery point & recovery time objectives
  • Plan and perform software upgrades, firmware updates, and patch installations on NetApp storage systems. This includes evaluating new releases, assessing compatibility, and implementing upgrade procedures while minimizing downtime
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of NetApp storage systems, identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance. This may involve tuning storage parameters, implementing caching mechanisms, and adjusting configurations
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer-reported issues, analyzing logs and diagnostic data to identify the root cause. Apply appropriate solutions, workarounds, or escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams if required
