Job description

The Lead Developer provides senior DevSecOps leadership under this task order, directing developers and IT operations staff in planning and executing code releases across multiple environments. The position designs, creates, and implements systems software and infrastructure components; builds and maintains automated CI/CD pipelines using common automation, build, and deployment tools; and embeds security controls into build, test, and deployment workflows. The Lead Developer analyzes operational and performance data, drives process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency, and coordinates work across development, operations, and security teams.

SMX is seeking a Senior Cloud DevSecOps Developer. This position is onsite in Camp Springs, Maryland and requires a Top-Secret clearance., * Relevant Experience: 5 years

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • USCIS Experience
  • DHS Suitability
  • Developed and deployed AI/ML/LLMs solutions
  • Manage Developer teams
  • Experience utilizing automation tools for software builds, testing, and deployments.

Professional Competencies:

  • Ability to communicate complex technical details clearly to diverse audiences
  • Strong skills in translating technical concepts into accessible language for non-technical stakeholders

The proposed salary for this position is:

$105,100-$175,000 USD
