Job description

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace. As an Application Support Specialist, you will keep the business applications running smoothly for the people who depend on them every day. You’ll work across a broad portfolio of enterprise applications-partnering with the IT Service Desk, application owners, and end users to resolve issues, document processes, and improve the support experience over time.

You will achieve the following:

  1. Provide Tier 2 application support for end users across the supported application portfolio, diagnosing and resolving functional, configuration, access, and integration issues.
  2. Partner with the IT Service Desk team on escalations, ensuring tickets are triaged efficiently and resolved with clear communication to end users.
  3. Collaborate with application owners, vendors, and business stakeholders to coordinate fixes, improvements, and ongoing application health.
  4. Track application changes, updates, and version releases; communicate downstream impact to the Service Desk team and end users before issues surface.

  5. Maintain knowledge base articles, runbooks, and support documentation for owned applications - ensuring content is accurate, searchable, and useful for both the service desk team and end users.
  6. Manage user access requests across supported applications - provisioning, deprovisioning, and role changes - with attention to audit and compliance requirements.
  7. Leverage AI tools (such as Microsoft Copilot) responsibly to accelerate troubleshooting, improve documentation quality, and assist users - verifying outputs for accuracy, protecting sensitive data, and applying judgment on when AI assistance is appropriate.
  8. Participate in application testing, validation, and deployment activities tied to updates and new rollouts.
  9. Identify patterns in recurring issues and contribute to process improvements that reduce repeat tickets and improve the user experience.
  10. Contribute to a culture of clear, complete documentation across the team - producing handoffs, ticket notes, and KB content that can be understood without verbal explanation. This role is based out of Columbia, SC location. In-office presence is expected four days per week.
