Job description
Azure Infrastructure Engineer
Hybrid working: 3 days per week required in the office in Birmingham.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 3rd line support across the breadth of Azure services including but not limited to; Azure IAAS, PAAS, Terraform, Containers, Subscription and Tenant management, Azure DevOps, Azure security.
- Build, maintain and Implement Infrastructure as a code using Terraform.
- Automate workflows and processes using Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud performance, availability and reliability issues.
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met using Azure policies, roles and permissions.
- Work as part of an on-call rota for out of hours P1 major incidents.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience in Azure administration and engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services and features, such as Azure Management, Terraform.
- Containers, Private Endpoints, Azure networking (VNets, VPN, peering, private endpoints), Azure compute and storage services.
- Experience in using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or other tools for version control and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and tools, such as Azure Security Center, or Azure Key Vault.
- Certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (desirable).
