In this role, you will work with cloud technologies, enabling faster delivery, improved reliability, and enhanced customer experiences across the organization. This is a unique opportunity for engineers to deepen their AWS experience while directly influencing large-scale transformations and building next-generation platforms at enterprise scale., To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues., * Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.

• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

Do you have experience in Unit testing?, To be successful as a Sr. AWS Cloud Engineer, you should have experience with:

• Software development building enterprise-grade applications
• Java & Spring frameworks, with solid experience in micro-services architecture
• AWS Cloud Services - MSK, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Networking concepts, Cloud Formation to design and deploy scalable applications
• Messaging platforms and integrations - Kafka, Webhooks & events streaming

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• Knowledge of observability practices (logging, metrics, tracing) using tools/frameworks like CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana, Telemetry or equivalent tools
• AI enthusiast with an understanding of Agentic-AI fundamentals and frameworks
• Exposure to the financial domain, particularly Core Processors such as TSYS, FDR, FIS
