Job description

Develop, maintain and evolve the code standard document for different coding languages

like python, terraform, JavaScript and others.

Manage the ACT Gitlab code repository.

Build, configure, optimize and maintain Gitlab projects.

Build, configure, optimize and maintain Gitlab pipelines.

Optimize each Gitlab pipeline individual stages reducing the overall running time.

Establish the necessary procedures to approve discrepancies when running Gitlab pipelines.

Configure and manage AWS services like VCP, Security Groups, ECS, EC2, Lamba, Step Functions, etc.

Collaborate with Treasury and Technology leaders and partners to gather requirements and feedback

for efficient, agile, tactical, and strategic projects that provide valuable benefits.

Collaborate with others ACT IT partners to prioritize development, testing, project management,

and product ownership in accordance with Ally policies and standards.

Continuously research, learn, and implement new AI concepts.

Maintain clear documentation on all implemented solutions, PoC, experiments, proof of technology, etc.

Perform knowledge transfer and conduct training for the rest of the teammates.

Develop clear and coordinated Python code in line with PEP8 standards and internal guidelines

within our strategic Collaborative Python Computing (CPC) platform framework.

Identify and eliminate manual processes and single points of failure across all of Treasury by

implementing AI solutions

Self-sufficiently identify defects, gaps, and pitfalls, and rapidly overcome them with robust long-term

Requirements

An Advanced Degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field. Candidates

with a Bachelors degree and relevant work experience will also be considered.

8+ years of development experience using Python and terraform.

8+ years of experience owning and managing Gitlab projects and pipelines

8+ years of experience in SQL, data normalization, indexing, joins, primary and foreign keys.

8+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure, components, orchestration and infrastructure

as a code, AWS highly preferred.

8+ years of data pipeline and IT architecture experience.

3+ year of experience with Jira Application, Jira API and Jira Data Model.

3+ year of experience with AI use case implementation including AI Agents development and orchestration

(Agentic AI), prompt engineering, RAG, Multimodal Embeddings, MCP ClientServer, and other mainstream

AI technics, tools, and frameworks a big plus.

3+ year process automation and graphical display development experience in DashFlask, React, Vue,

Angular or any other web user interface framework highly desirable

Previous experience in Financial Institutions, Treasury, Capital Markets, Accounting, Balance Sheet,

Finance, Risk, is a big plus.

Strong Excel VBA skills.

Self-starter, able to produce quickly and independently.

Strong communication (written, verbal, and interpersonal) skills.
