Job description

Avita is looking for a full time (Mon-Fri, 8a-5p) System Administrator. This is an onsite position located in Flowery Branch, Ga.

Under supervision, installs, configures, and supports a local area network, wide area network, internet system, computers, desktops and/or mobile devices. Performs necessary maintenance to support network availability.

Job duties include

  • Plans, designs and manages IT hardware and software infrastructure
  • Manages the Users and Computers accounts
  • Manages user access to shared Office 365 licensing
  • Creates printer objects and access control lists.
  • Maintains software Security Patching, Service Packs/upgrades related to servers
  • Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming telephone, requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies;
  • Work through Helpdesk trouble tickets daily. Keep tickets to a minimum
  • Handles problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for routine user problems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two year of related experience Or Associate degree in a related field and 4 years of related experience
  • Previous help desk and/or Windows administration related support position, * Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Detailed oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • An understanding of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Security
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Technical understanding and basic troubleshooting knowledge of hardware and software computer systems
