Job description
The Firmware Engineer will report directly to the Head of Firmware/Head of R&D and will play a key role in developing high-quality embedded software for new and existing products. Working closely with electronics, mechanical and test engineers, you’ll be responsible for taking firmware from initial hardware bring-up through to production release, while also developing Windows-based tools used for device configuration, diagnostics and firmware updates., If you have the required skills for this Firmware Engineer position, please get in touch with an up-to-date copy of your CV or contact Aleesha Purdy for a confidential discussion.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Electronics, Software or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
- 3+ years’ Embedded C development.
- ARM Cortex-M or similar microcontrollers.
- Windows development (C#/.NET or C++ with Qt)
- Hardware bring-up experience.
- Familiarity with UART, SPI, I2C etc
