IT Service Technician

Krista computers is a locally owned IT service company and MSP that services customers throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. We provide support for a wide range of customers from home users to schools to large enterprises. We are seeking a service-oriented and self-motivated professional to join our IT support team.

The ideal candidate will be expected to support a wide variety of technologies and perform various technical duties. These include, but are not limited to:

• Install and configure software and computer systems. Including Windows based laptops, PCs, and servers.
• Install and configure wired and wireless networking devices including routers, switches, and access points for home users or enterprise customers.
• Perform system maintenance and upgrades. Including servers, workstations, networking equipment, Windows operating systems, and other software.
• Administer Windows Active Directory environments and Group Policy.
• Manager Virtual servers (VMWare and Hyper-V).
• Monitor and test backup solutions including VEEAM.

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * Have excellent communication skills

• Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems
• Work independently
• Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in a technical support role.
• Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications.
• Clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

• Requires sitting at a desk and frequent use of computer for extended periods of time.
• May be required to bend, stoop, crawl or work on ladders to install equipment.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds may be required on an occasional basis., * Active Directory: 1 year (Preferred)
• Microsoft 365 management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Network management: 1 year (Preferred)

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

This is an in person position at our offices in Chippewa Falls, WI.

Job Type: Full-time
