Security AI Consultant / CISO AI Advisory / AI Cyber Tech Lead

Drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity architecture and engineering, with a focus on AI security.

• Provide deep technical leadership to ensure robust protection of information assets while enabling business innovation.
• Embed with technology teams to deliver real-time cyber advice and guidance, especially regarding AI (including GenAI).
• Advise CISO leadership and senior stakeholders on secure and effective adoption of AI across cybersecurity functions.
• Shape strategy, governance, and operating models for AI security, aligning with regulatory, privacy, and control requirements.
• Lead development and maintenance of secure architecture frameworks (cloud, on-premises, hybrid), ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Oversee engineering and integration of security controls (identity & access, network, endpoint, data security) and promote secure-by-design principles.
• Drive security for critical technology platforms by collaborating with platform owners and engineering teams throughout the entire lifecycle.
• Provide technical oversight for incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management; lead root cause analysis and remediation for complex incidents.
• Act as a trusted advisor, translating technical risks into actionable business recommendations and presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and threats, recommending enhancements to security architecture and engineering practices.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the security team; mentor and develop a high-performing team of security architects and engineers.
• Contribute to CISO advisory, strategy, governance, risk management, Responsible AI, secure GenAI enablement, operating model evolution, and change management.
• Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, constructively challenge decisions, and drive outcomes.

Minimum 8 years’ experience in cybersecurity architecture, technical engineering, and platform security in large organizations (banking preferred).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; relevant professional certifications required (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, AWS/Azure Security).
• Deep knowledge of security frameworks, secure software development, and technical expertise in network security, identity management, cryptography, and automation.
• Experience in leading technical teams, cross-functional projects, and willingness to travel as required.
• Desirable: Experience defining AI governance/Responsible AI frameworks, familiarity with SIEM/SOAR, EDR, cloud security, data governance, and adversarial ML/AI security risks.
