Job description

As a Senior Solutions Architect at NTT DATA, you will play an essential role in collaborating with clients and internal teams to create advanced, transformational designs and architectural visions for complex solutions. Your expertise will drive the development of multi-technology consulting services that span application software, infrastructure, and related technology components.

You will contribute to complex solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure, or functional areas while evaluating alternative architectures for cost, performance, and scalability. By developing detailed specifications for cloud-based or on-premises components, you will ensure robust, cutting-edge solutions that meet our clients’ unique needs.

Your hands-on role will involve preparing technical plans and designs that comply with enterprise and solution architecture standards, remaining agile to adapt to changing project requirements. You will be accountable for understanding client requirements, collecting DATA, delivering thorough analysis, and providing effective problem resolution.

Keeping ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, you will produce insightful reports and technology roadmaps, sharing your knowledge with internal teams and clients alike. By creating multiple design views, you will address both functional and non-functional requirements, offering innovative solutions with proof-of-concept (POC) implementations. You will also mentor and guide less experienced colleagues, contributing to our collaborative culture., * This role will involve the RFP/RFI process as well as bespoke solutions in collaboration with Product teams/vendors, ensuring accurate verification, technical design vetting and overall cost and quality for the correct design and implementation.

  • Coordination and oversight of Third-Party Providers for solution components. Work with them to create and freeze the Bills of Materials.
  • Assess and understand the client’s business requirements, translating and recording these into formal network solution requirements.
  • Responsible for the development of a convincing solution strategy regarding current, intermediate, and future mode of operations including migration approach.
  • Design and develop an end-to-end security solution design to meet the agreed solution requirements while taking into consideration the economic parameters and competition.
  • Participate in due diligence meetings with customer to gather more information on proposal/information request and environment.
  • Successfully defend proposed techno-commercial solutions as part of the pre-sales process.
  • Prepare Proposal documents including proposals, pricing sheet, solution presentations against RFP’s/RFI’s.
  • Contractual documents such as Statement of Work, Resource Unit Definitions etc.
  • Understanding new data technologies/products and position them in relevant solution proposal.
  • Keep himself/herself up to date with latest products features, licensing, architecture, and price.
  • Defend end-to-end data solutions to customer/internal stakeholders.
  • Working closely alongside other technology owners for optimal solution design in-line with the overall proposed solution.
  • Work with OEM / Partners to ensure an appropriate solution is proposed during Presales Cycle., Remote working with travel based on business needs up to 80% to client sites, industry functions, and/or internal meetings.

Requirements

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect who encompasses experience in Cybersecurity and Presales who will be responsible for leading client engagements, RFP responses, developing service offerings and participating in pre-sales process including development of proposals and estimates. This role requires technically strong individual with diverse expertise across Network, Cloud and Infrastructure security competencies who is confident under pressure and has demonstrated these skills in large scale Enterprise Security designs for global clients. This is a Go-to-Market, quota bearing role., * Candidate must possess at bachelor’s degree Engineering in any discipline.

  • 7+ years of experience as an Individual Contributor in Security Presales/Business Development and/or IT Infrastructure.
  • Should have excellent knowledge in creating High level & Low-level Design document, proposal writing skills, Bill of Material Preparation and writing Scope of Document.
  • Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) etc. are good to have.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and marketing.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to present complex security solutions to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong understanding of technical partnerships and GTM strategies, particularly in working with OEMs.
  • Excellent Interpersonal & Collaboration Skills
  • Experience selling services-heavy solutions, GSI and Managed Security offerings.

Benefits & conditions

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is $111K-207K. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
