Job description

The Senior IT Engineer (Server) leads the deployment, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of enterprise network, server, and data center infrastructure. The role blends hands-on technical expertise with project delivery, ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure IT environments that support business operations., * Infrastructure Project Delivery & Management: Lead end-to-end delivery of data center and IT infrastructure projects, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and transition to operations; develop and maintain project scopes, schedules, RACI matrices, and risk registers.

  • Stakeholder Communication & Governance: Provide clear communication throughout the project lifecycle, prepare status reports, executive summaries, and ensure governance best practices.
  • Network Infrastructure Support (Level 2): Troubleshoot complex network incidents, participate in design and capacity planning, create device/configuration templates, and collaboration with Network Operations to improve processes.
  • Systems Infrastructure Support (Level 2): Administer Windows Server and Linux systems, manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM/AHV), perform backups, disaster recovery testing, and optimize performance.
  • Data Center & Infrastructure Operations: Deploy and expand data center facilities, maintain inventories and diagrams, support incident response, problem management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years managing medium-to-large enterprise network and server environments in fast-scaling international settings.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies, routing, switching, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux administration, and virtualization (VMware vCenter/ESXi, Hyper-V, KVM/AHV).
  • Experience supporting enterprise server and storage infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with excellent stakeholder communication.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is an advantage.
  • Optional: ITIL Foundation certification, Agile Project Management experience, Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE), Cisco CCNP, Huawei HCIP, or comparable networking credentials.
  • Knowledge of monitoring, automation, scripting, and operational tooling; participation in migration or transformation projects is a plus.
