Data Center Audit Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cable Technicians to support Fiber validation, auditing, and troubleshooting activities. Key Responsibilities * Support Fiber audit activities, including verification and validation of infrastructure * Assist in troubleshooting, identifying connectivity and configuration issues * Validate inventory, connectivity, and documentation accuracy across network assets * Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve discrepancies * Document findings and provide clear audit reports and recommendations Required Skills & Experience * Strong understanding of EDP / technical design documentation * Knowledge of telecom / network infrastructure concepts * Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting (Layer 1) * High attention to detail and documentation accuracy * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications * Experience with telecom, ISP, or enterprise network environments * Familiarity with fiber and copper infrastructure What Success Looks Like * Accurate and complete Fiber audit deliverables * Clear, up-to-date circuit maps and documentation * Efficient identification and resolution of network discrepancies * Strong collaboration with internal technical teams

Current Site Locations: The immediate need is in Columbus Ohio for 5-6 months. However, this is subject to change. Location: 1 Community Circle, New Albany, Ohio. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The role includes a rotating on-call schedule. During site turn-up’s, the schedule shifts to 10-hour days, 6 days per week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
