The Amazon Benefits Technology (BXT) team designs, deploys and manages the administration of financial, education, health, and wellness benefits and equity programs on behalf of Amazonians and their families worldwide. We leverage science and technology to drive better value for employees. Our technology enables BXT business partners to design and negotiate new plans, delivering value for employees and reducing Amazon’s cost to serve.
The Benefits Experience Tools and Services (BETS) organization within BXT is launching A to Z Family in 2026-a transformational initiative that will establish Amazon’s company-wide family relationship platform, serving as the trusted source of truth for 500K+ family members (spouses, partners, and children) across the enterprise. This is not a single-organization solution-it is foundational infrastructure that multiple Amazon organizations will depend on, each with distinct technical requirements and product needs.
We are looking for a passionate, results-oriented, and creative technical program manager to define and deliver innovative solutions for the FAMILY tech team. The candidate should understand system design and service-oriented architecture, thrive in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable with ambiguity, and lead cross-group teams across Amazon, on an unbeaten path. The candidate should be able to recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet compressed timelines with optimal solutions.
Requirements
Successful candidates will have a proven track record of planning and delivering complex programs with multi-year roadmap, using Agile and incremental delivery methods. They must have experience working on complex software systems in a customer-centric environment, driven cross-group teams spread across multiple geographies and handled communication from technical developers to senior VPs., 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

Benefits & conditions
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
