Job description

Administer, configure, and optimize Microsoft Purview to support a secure Microsoft 365 Copilot deployment
Implement and manage data protection, compliance, and information protection controls across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
Configure, test, and hand over Copilot-related security and compliance capabilities
Implement and support Microsoft Purview features, including:
Sensitivity Labels
Auto-labeling
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
Data Security Posture Management (DSPM)
Audit & Activity Monitoring
Retention & Data Lifecycle Management
eDiscovery
Insider Risk Management
Communication Compliance
Configure,optimize, and maintainDLP policies across:
Exchange Online
SharePoint Online
OneDrive for Business
Microsoft Teams
Endpoint environments
Copilot-related scenarios where applicable
Utilize Purview DSPM, Activity Explorer, Content Explorer, Audit Logs, and reporting capabilities to identify risks and validate security controls
Support oversharing remediation initiatives by identifying:
Sensitive content exposure
Risky sharing configurations
Excessive permissions
Ownerless sites
Content requiring exclusion or restriction from Copilot grounding
Support the implementation and validation of audit, retention, lifecycle management, and eDiscovery capabilities
Assist with Insider Risk Management and Communication Compliance configurations, policy testing, alert reviews, and escalation processes
Collaborate with Security, Compliance, Legal, Digital Workplace, Microsoft 365 Operations teams, data owners, and external service providers
Create and maintain implementation documentation, runbooks, testing evidence, operational handover documents, and knowledge articles
Identify risks, dependencies, licensing limitations, policy conflicts, and operational gaps and provide mitigation recommendations, * Successful implementation and optimization of Microsoft Purview capabilities supporting Microsoft 365 Copilot
Reduction of oversharing and data exposure risks across Microsoft 365 workloads
Effective deployment of information protection, DLP, compliance, and governance controls
Increased visibility of data security risks through monitoring, auditing, and reporting capabilities
Fully documented and tested security and compliance configurations
Complete operational handover documentation and administration procedures
Establishment of a secure and scalable foundation for Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption

Requirements

Proven hands-on experience administering Microsoft Purview in large enterprise Microsoft 365 environments
Strong expertise in:
Sensitivity Labels
Auto-labeling
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
Retention Policies
Audit & Compliance Monitoring
eDiscovery
Data Lifecycle Management
Insider Risk Management
Communication Compliance
Strong experience across Microsoft 365 workloads, including:
Exchange Online
SharePoint Online
OneDrive for Business
Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Entra ID
Endpoint Security Solutions
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot security concepts, including:
Oversharing risks
Sensitive information exposure
Permission management
Copilot grounding behavior
Data access governance
Ability to translate security, governance, and compliance requirements into practical Microsoft Purview configurations
Experience communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in global and/or highly regulated enterprise environments
Exposure to Data Protection, Information Governance, Legal, Risk, or Compliance workstreams is highly desirable
Proven experience delivering results independently in fast-paced project environments
Previous involvement in:
Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness initiatives
Microsoft Purview implementation projects
Microsoft 365 compliance and governance programs
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Structured, detail-oriented, and delivery-focused approach
Excellent English communication skill
