Job description

  • Design and define the software architecture for CyberMart, ensuring scalability, security and maintainability across all components.
  • Lead the specification and development of distributed service-oriented architectures, including integration with core platform services including identity and access management, role-based permissions, asynchronous job processing and centralised logging and monitoring.
  • Architect and oversee the implementation of .NET Core APIs and Angular-based frontend applications, ensuring adherence to Siemens Branding guidelines and secure development standards.
  • Design and optimise data persistence strategies, along with caching mechanisms and messaging/streaming to support high-performance operations.
  • Establish and maintain software development standards using APIs built on OpenAPI specifications, microservices patterns and code quality guidelines across development teams.
  • Provide technical leadership on emerging technologies, frameworks and architectural patterns; actively share knowledge and mentor engineering teams.
  • Ensure compliance with security, logging and telemetry requirements in accordance with corporate governance frameworks and security standards.

Requirements

o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent professional qualification; or state-certified computer scientist in software technology. o Several years of professional experience architecting and developing with .NET Core (C#), ASP.NET and Microsoft Visual Studio. o Demonstrated expertise in modern frontend technologies, particularly Angular, along with HTML5, CSS3, LESS, SASS and responsive web design principles. o Strong background in designing and implementing microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, message-driven systems and service-oriented solutions. o Proven experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server) and NoSQL/caching solutions (REDIS). o Solid knowledge of containerisation (OpenShift), cloud-native development and DevOps practices. o Understanding of authentication, authorisation, logging and telemetry frameworks. o Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
