Back End Developer

Overview We’re supporting a leading sports company in Málaga that is scaling its engineering team.They’re seeking an experienced C# Backend Developer to help design and implement robust, high-performing backend systems that power their global sports platforms.Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C# and .NET Core .Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams to deliver new features and enhancements.Implement secure, efficient, and reusable code according to industry best practices.Work with relational and non-relational databases to manage data efficiently.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical design decisions.Participate in Agile ceremonies, peer reviews, and sprint planning.Requirements 3+ years of professional experience with C# and .NET (preferably .NET Core/.NET 6+) .Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.Experience with SQL Server (knowledge of other databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB is a plus).Strong knowledge of software design principles (SOLID, Clean Architecture).Familiarity with version control (Git).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Fluent in English (Spanish a bonus).Nice-to-Have Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP a plus).Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with test automation frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).Background in sports, media, or entertainment platforms.Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology Industries Software Development #J-*****-Ljbffr
