Technical Support Engineer

• Installation & Deployment: Deliver and install hardware and software solutions at customer sites.
• Technical Support: Resolve customer issues via phone, email, remote access, or on-site visits.
• On-Site Calibration: Perform commercial weighing scale calibrations (primarily in the South West).
• Training: Deliver software and system training to customers remotely and on-site.
• On-Call Support: Participate in an out-of-hours technical support rota.
• Sales Support: Handle initial customer enquiries, route leads to the Sales Manager, and conduct software demonstrations.

• Full UK Driving Licence and access to personal transport (a company vehicle is provided for official travel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (GCSE-level English and Maths or equivalent).
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong attention to detail.
• A demonstrable interest in technology, commercial software, and business apps.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team.
• Willingness to travel regularly and maintain flexibility for occasional out-of-hours working.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a technical support, IT, or networking role.
• Commercial awareness within the retail or hospitality sectors.
