ppbLocation: /b Sant Just Desvern, Barcelona, Spain.bRequisition Number: /b *** /p h3Overview /h3 pWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Scientist with strong expertise in optimization to join our growing team.As Data Scientist II, you will be responsible for constructing optimization models to solve business problems and communicate the result to the business stakeholders.You will also be responsible for working with cross?functional teams to identify and prioritize data analytics initiatives./p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, create, test, and implement complex models and algorithms that drive analytical solutions throughout the organization./li liHelp coordinate the data science workstream./li liConduct statistical and other analyses to provide actionable insights, identify trends, and measure performance./li liCollaborate with business analysts and understand business problems to implement scalable and sustainable solutions./li liCoordinate with MIS, Digital Specialists, and Data Engineers to deliver holistic analytical solutions and communicate the design, functioning and output of the analytical models/solutions developed./li liEnsure timely analysis and testing for regular maintenance of solutions over time./li liCommunicate data insights to stakeholders./li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liPostgraduate degree in STEM field or Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years’ experience as Data Scientist I. /li liExpertise in programming languages like Python or R. /li liStrong foundations in math, analytics and computer science; knowledge of machine learning methods, statistical models, and advanced data science programming./li liProficiency in visualization tools to create reports./li liGood understanding of database designs.Prior coursework is a plus./li liDemonstrated ability for creative innovative thinking./li liAct as a great team player and pitch new ideas, take responsibility to improve code quality and impact./li liHas optimization background or at least 1-2 years of experience with optimization modeling./li /ul /p #J-***-Ljbffr
