Job description

The role in the Valencia office involves supporting the software development lifecycle by analyzing and implementing business logic within a large-scale cloud microservices ecosystem, adhering to best practices and standards., * Develop simulation models for analyzing processes and layouts using discrete event simulation software and programming languages such as C and C++.

Conduct debugging, validation, verification, and output analysis of simulation models.
Document modeling assumptions, process flows, results, and issue reports.
Develop emulation models connecting to real-world control systems such as Terminal Operating System (TOS) used in marine terminal environments.
Collect and analyze data for model inputs.
Perform numerical and statistical analysis of various operational processes.
Interface with technicians, engineers, and project managers during data gathering, model development, analysis, reporting, and presentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (Azure, AWS, Kubernetes) are a plus.
2+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS also acceptable).
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes - AKS, EKS, GKE).
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or similar).
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar).
Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps best practices.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) is a plus.
