Commend UK - Professional Services Engineer

Working as part of our Professional Services team, you’ll be responsible for commissioning, servicing and supporting Commend’s market-leading communication systems. You’ll work closely with customers, providing technical expertise, carrying out site visits and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards., * Commissioning and maintaining Commend systems

• Attending service calls and providing on-site technical support
• Remote support for contracted customers
• Producing system configurations and programming solutions
• Carrying out customer site surveys
• Supporting product demonstrations alongside the sales team
• Identifying upgrade opportunities within existing customer sites
• Building strong customer relationships through excellent technical service
• Working towards individual and team performance objectives

If you have experience within CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Security Systems or a similar technical environment and enjoy solving problems on-site, we’d love to hear from you., * We’re looking for engineers who enjoy working with customers and have a solid technical foundation., * Experience within the electronic security industry (CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Security or similar)

• Good understanding of IP networking and basic network configuration
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer-facing ability
• A full UK driving licence
• The willingness to travel throughout the UK with occasional overnight stays
• Previous experience with Commend products is not required. Full product training will be provided.

Salary: Competitive (£40,000 DOE) + Annual Bonus + Paid Door-to-Door Travel + Overtime, * Competitive salary dependent on experience

An on-call rota exists within the business and is currently fully covered. While it is not immediately available to new starters, opportunities to join the rota may become available in the future.
