Job description

Lead the design, implementation and evolution of shared Angular frontend capabilities and reusable platform components that serve as the foundation for customer-facing digital banking services.
Define and enforce frontend architecture principles, coding standards, security requirements and engineering best practices, and perform design and code reviews.
Continuously evaluate new Angular and web platform capabilities and drive their adoption where they provide measurable business or technical value.
Take ownership of the quality, stability, maintainability and long-term evolution of customer-facing frontend platform components.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to frontend engineers, support agile teams in resolving complex technical challenges and drive technical excellence across the frontend engineering landscape.

Requirements

Expert knowledge in SPA design and development with Angular and TypeScript, including integration with RESTful APIs in cloud environments and modern Angular architecture patterns such as standalone components, Signals, dependency injection, lazy loading and state management.
Proven strong experience designing scalable and maintainable frontend architectures for large-scale enterprises across the full SDLC process, leading frontend engineering activities across multiple development teams and driving architectural decisions in complex enterprise environments.
Solid experience with Nx monorepos, frontend build tooling, NPM package management, Node.js-based development environments, shared platform capabilities and integration of third-party solutions such as content management systems or analytics platforms.
Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform for operating and maintaining frontend applications at scale, plus advanced practical experience in responsive web application development using HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, WCAG 2 AA accessibility standards and frontend security best practices.
Ability to work effectively within agile delivery teams while independently driving technical topics across team boundaries and influencing architectural decisions, with strong analytical and communication skills, high independence and initiative, and proficiency in spoken and written English.
