Experteer Overview In this role you drive performance characterization and optimization of RTI Connext, delivering insights through modeling, benchmarking, and bottleneck analysis.You collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed performance considerations in the software lifecycle and report findings clearly to stakeholders.You will work on high-stakes, latency-sensitive systems and help scale performance across complex workloads.This is a hands-on role at a company focused on reliable, real-time data streaming.Compensaciones / Beneficios* Design and execute performance tests and regression detection strategies to identify and address bottlenecks in Connext software* Conduct performance modeling and simulations to forecast behavior under varying workloads* Characterize workloads and network usage to understand resource consumption and system trends* Develop and maintain shared performance measurement tools and infrastructure* Collaborate with development teams to integrate performance considerations into the software lifecycle* Publish performance results with actionable insights and visualizationsResponsabilidades* Advanced degree in Computer Science, HPC, or related field* 5+ years of practical experience in performance modeling, testing, analysis, and optimization for critical software systems* Experience with performance testing tools (gprof) and frameworks (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated performance testing and benchmarking* Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, Java, or similar* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detailRequisitos principales* Hybrid office schedule* Home office stipend* 25 days paid vacation* Real Vacation Bonus* Annual bonus based on performance* English classes reimbursement

Requirements

Advanced degree in Computer Science, HPC, or related field
5+ years of practical experience in performance modeling, testing, analysis, and optimization for critical software systems
Experience with performance testing tools (gprof) and frameworks (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated performance testing and benchmarking
Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, Java, or similar
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail Requisitos principales
