Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected and professional IT company based in St Asaph who provide first class IT Support to various companies in the North West., * Acting as the first point of contact for technical assistance for customers contacting the IT Helpdesk

  • Providing 1 st and 2 nd line diagnosis and resolution for technical assistance requests
  • Work with customers in an friendly manner to understand and resolve technical issues
  • You will be involved in project work for existing and new clients such as software deployments and hardware upgrades
  • Working closely with other engineers to progress complex tickets effectively, ensuring the highest levels of customer service.
  • Undertaking system monitoring tasks and checks for our client base
  • Continually looking for ways to improve personal performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer providing 1 st & 2 nd Line Support
  • Experience of administering and supporting the latest Microsoft technologies including Windows Server (up to 2022), Windows (10, 11) Operating Systems and Office 365
  • Experience of Core Network Fundamentals (TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, WiFi)
  • Experience of base Cyber Security services and practices surrounding them
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical users
  • Welsh Speaking (Desired NOT Essential)
  • Full UK Driving License (Desired NOT Essential)

Benefits & conditions

£23,000 - £28,000 p/a plus additional package, On Offer:

  • 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday from our offices in St. Asaph (North Wales)
  • Salary of £23,000 - £28,000 plus overtime when applicable
  • On-call rota involvement (1 in 4 weeks)
  • Annual leave starting at 20 days plus bank holidays, rising to a maximum of 30 days
