Requirements

4 - 10 years of experience in hardware/electronics engineering, designing PCBs and building drone or UAV systems (STM32, power circuits, motor drivers)

Work experience

Has taken hardware from blank schematic to manufactured, field- deployed units (drones, UAVs, satellites, or similar electromechanical systems)

Has managed and hired engineers before (even a small team)

Experience at a defense, aerospace, UAV, or robotics company (e. g. Anduril, Skydio, Shield AI, Sterling X, Elbit, or similar).

Education

Degree in electrical/electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field - or equivalent self- taught portfolio.

Hard skills

End- to- end PCB design: schematic capture, multi- layer routing, bring- up, DFM, Gerber generation (Altium or KiCad)

Analog, digital, and power electronics (motor drivers, BDRCs, power distribution, BMS)

Embedded firmware experience (STM32, SPI, I2C, UART, CAN) and mechanical/CAD design for enclosures and airframes
